Norwood Virtual Program February Rising Star I'yonna Hunter

All of this work alone makes her an A student, but how she has stepped up to help others is what makes her exemplary.  She consistently accepts the position as “co-teacher” during google meets, sharing her screen to show reading assignments and her worksheets as she types the work being completed by the class.  She has taken time from her work schedule to meet with new students and their teacher to “show them the ropes” of how to navigate the online platform.  And just recently, she gladly accepted her teacher’s invitation to help lead a tutorial given to 4th graders and their parents (AND their teachers) to show them how to submit work through a newer technology tool KAMI.  This training session was saved and has been used several times since then for other new students and teachers to view to learn this process as well.  We could not be more proud of the work that I’yonna has done this year to accomplish her goals and how she continues to help others try to achieve their goals as well. Congratulations I’yonna.
