Hello Norwood Families, We have an update for you regarding the vaccination process for NCSD staff. Good news: 88% of teachers were able to receive the first dose in February as part of Governor DeWine’s Vaccination Plan Phase 1B. That percentage is higher than many healthcare facilities at this time. The next dose will be administered March 3. We noticed after the first round that about 23 people did not feel well the next day. The health department shared it is even more likely that adults may not feel well the day after the second dose as the body builds immunity to the virus.

Luz Michele Gavarrete is a Rising Star because she gives over 100% everyday. Luz comes to school every day and extends her day to continue her studies and to get help from Mrs. Rosiello. All of this is voluntary so that she can complete her courses and graduate by the end of the year. Mr. Schulte will tell you that Luz is the most driven student he has ever had! She has completed more courses for him than any student in his tenure.
