Mission:The Norwood City Schools Alumni Association (NCSAA) is a 501(c)(3)nonprofitorganization whose mission and objective is to advance the interests and actively promote and support the programs and activities of the Norwood City Schools and the Alumni Association.

BASIC INFO ABOUT THE NCSAA

• The Alumni Office does not have a paid staff so all phone calls are returned by volunteers, usually on a weekly basis.  We thank you for your patience.
• Alumni Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of the month in January, March, May, July, September and November at 7pm in the Alumni Room and are open to the public.  The entrance is marked and is located on Elm Avenue to the east of the fieldhouse in the back of the Middle School.  If you plan to attend, please call in advance to check as meetings are sometimes rescheduled.
• Alumni Events held annually are:  Alumni All Grads Luncheon (May),  Alumni Golf Outing (June), participation in the Annual Norwood Day Parade (July), Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Dinner (September), Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Dinner (November) and Alumni Holiday Luncheon (December) as well as various Veterans events held throughout the year. Event details and registration forms can be found in our membership newsletter Reflections and posted on this page when available.
• Nominations for either Distinguished or Athletic Hall of Fames are welcome at any time and may be submitted via email to NHSAlumni2020@aol.com. The proper nomination form will be sent to you by return email or USPS mail at your request.
• Visit the NCSAA Alumni Room and take a nostalgic trip back to your days at Norwood High School.  The huge collection of items is certain to rekindle old memories for ALL alumni.  Email or call to schedule a tour.

BECOME A MEMBER OF THE NCSAA!

Annual membership dues are $25.00 and includes one year subscription to the Reflections newsletter as well as full membership status in the Norwood City Schools Alumni Association for the upcoming calendar year.  Please email cornelius.k@norwoodschools.org for a membership application.

ALUMNI PARK

Know what makes a great gift?  A customized brick installed in Alumni Park, located between Norwood Middle School and Norwood High School.  Pay tribute to a former teacher, memorialize an old friend or include your whole family of grads on a paver brick with your wording.  The Brick Application order form is available under Downloads at right.

100 Years of Educating and Shaping Lives: Norwood High School 1914-2014, a Centennial Commemorative Book on Norwood High School featuring history on NHS and the City of Norwood, includes lots of photos and wonderful memories from NHS Alumni.  It's available for purchase on Amazon.
