High School Academics
The Norwood High School offers a strong academic program with small classroom sizes. Advanced placement and honors courses, college preparatory courses, and standard level courses are available. Students can participate in music programs, sports, and after school activities. Each student has a career exploration plan that they update each year.
Norwood students may be eligible to earn both high school and college courses credit through our College Credit Plus programming. Alternative options for personalized learning experiences may be accessed for students requiring credit recovery. A comprehensive program for students who have been identified with unique learning needs and have individualized educational plans is also offered.
In addition to our local campus, students have the opportunity to attend a campus in one of the finest and most recognized vocational programs in the State of Ohio: the Great Oaks system.
