What's happening at Williams Avenue
MAY RISING STAR MITCHELL TURNER
Mitchell Turner has been selected as our first grade Rising Star at Williams Ave. for numerous reasons. I can say in all honesty that Mitchell is the most polite and caring soul that I have had in my classroom in my sixteen years of teaching.
MAY RISING STAR SHAYLA CAMERON
Shayla Cameron moved to Williams Avenue Elementary school in October from Columbus, Ohio. She quickly made new friends and displayed an eagerness to learn.
MAY RISING STAR AUSTIN AND TYLER MOORE

Austin and Tyler Moore are 5th grade Rising Stars for the year. Both brothers are WAE rising stars everYday! They have a passion for information and love the learning process.

NPD Generosity

Today at 11:30 in the café NPD presented Hannah P. with her own personal Violin (she lost her rental in the house fire). The NPD also presented the family with a check to help with expenses. Her Violin teacher Mrs. Marshall was there and presented her with a bouquet of flowers and a card. The Pierson family has been blown away from the community support and is currently looking to find a new house here in Norwood, as they wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

Donuts with Cops

Williams Avenue Elementary annual Donuts with Cops took place on April 15th.  We would like to thank the Norwood Police Department for spending time and building relationships with our students and providing the Donuts.
