Orchestra Field Trip

7-12th grade orchestra students attended the Cincinnati Symphony’s “One Giant Leap” Young People’s Concert.  The sold out concert featured works by symphonic greats like Beethoven, Mahler, Prokofiev, Dvorak, Holst and John Williams.

The concert was in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the moon walk.  Students learned about fascinating space connections dating back hundreds of years ago, all the way up to our day.  The concert was extra special for our orchestra students because they were able to experience the Cincinnati Symphony performing some of the very same pieces and composers the orchestra has been performing.
