January Rising Star Journee Clark-Isham
Journee Clark-Isham is a 3rd grade student at Williams Avenue Elementary who walks into school each with a smile on her face and ready to take on the day. Journee is motivated to work hard every day in all subjects including specials. She is a huge asset to her classroom and peers as she is willing to help EVERYONE in the classroom.
Journee is the best “student teacher” a teacher could ask for. She is not afraid to take a risk and possibly make a mistake, because she knows that she can learn from her mistakes and be confident in the skills and knowledge she has acquired. She is always sharing her thoughts and insights to better herself and her classmates. She is kind, respectful, and always brings positivity and enthusiasm to school.
After school, Journee like to go to the library with her brother to read. She also enjoys roller skating and spending time with her friends on the weekends. When Journee grows up, she would like to be a teacher or a lawyer. Journee embodies the enthusiasm and passion required to be not only successful in third grade, but also what every student at Williams Ave. needs to be successful in their academic career and life in general. Journee is empathetic to others but displays great resilience and strength beyond her years. All of these wonderful qualities will continue to help her achieve whatever goals she sets for herself and others. It’s students like Journee that make Norwood City Schools GREAT!
