April Rising Star Student Landen Brown

Norwood Middle School is proud to announce Landen Brown as the 7th grade “Rising Star” for the month of April. Landen is the epitome of a good student. He works hard, he’s pleasant in class, and he participates in a variety of after-school activities. Landen attributes his success in school to always doing his homework and sitting away from his friends in class so he can concentrate. Currently, math is his absolute favorite subject and he enjoys learning new things each day. More +

Serenity’s personality and work ethic make her a great example to others, especially in the way she conducts herself in the classroom. She always tries her hardest, even when school gets difficult. As an 8th grader at the middle school, Katerria makes it her personal goal to demonstrate all of the school’s PRIDE and Peace Builder characteristics in the way she treats others. We would like to thank everyone who went to the polls on November 8th and spoke loudly through your vote to support the children of Norwood through the passage of Issue #47. Thank you for your support, your trust in the district and care for our children! Our first renovation projects will begin as soon as the school year ends. Is your child going to Washington DC? Would you like for him/her to receive help planning to save $20 a week to pay for the trip? Our friends at Northwest Mutual are volunteering with us to help students create a financial plan to reach their goal. They will be working with them monthly during advisory to work on their plans.
