Norwood City Schools After School Program Philosophy
The primary purpose of the Norwood City Schools 21st Century CLC Programs are to provide the following:
  • Quality educational enrichment activities that will provide daily reinforcement and additional support of current grade level instruction. Academic activities will regard reading/language arts, science and math as a priority.
  • Quality enrichment programs that include daily recreational,cultural,social and art activities for students. Emphasis will be placed on STEM activities that provide high quality Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Education Programs.
  • Lifelong learning strategies will enable our students to become productive members of the community throughout their life. The Search Institutes 40 Developmental Assets will be the basis for lifelong learning strategies.
  • Family activities that will meet the academic,social and cultural needs of our community.
  • Quality after school programs. The Norwood City Schools 21st Century CLC Programs are designed to provide a safe,caring,enrichment environment in the hours immediately following the traditional school day. The programs run from 3:15pm - 6:00pm Monday - Friday.

Beginning May 1, 2012, you can raise funds for Norwood City Schools After School Program by using your Kroger Plus Card every time you shop.
 
Link your Kroger Plus Card with Norwood City Schools After School Program. No reloadable gift card is required. It's easy!
 
Step 1 . Register your Kroger Plus Card at www.krogercommunityrewards.com, (If your card is already registered, proceed to Step 2.)
Select Cincinnati. You must create an account on Kroger's website before you can register your card and link to Norwood City Schools After School Program.

Step 2. Sign up for a Kroger Rewards Account. Enter your zip code, click on your favorite store, enter your e-mail address, create a password, and agree to terms & conditions. You will then get a message to check your e-mail inbox. Click on the link within the body of the e-mail.
 
Step 3. Click on My Account and enter your e-mail and password.
 
Step 4. Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards Information.
You may need to input your Kroger Plus Card number.
 
Step 5. Update or confirm your information.
 
Step 6. Enter Norwood City Schools After School Programs number 82055.
 
Step 7. To verify your enrollment, you will see Norwood City Schools After School Program’s name on the right side of the information page.

Remember, you must register your card on-line before you can link it to Norwood City Schools After School Program.
