Itinerant Preschool Services are also available for students who receive special education services. This option is available for parents who do not wish to send their child to our preschool program, but would like for him/her to receive special education services. These educational experiences are provided to children based on IEP goals and objectives in the home or community-based preschool within the City of Norwood.
All preschool teachers are licensed by the Ohio Department of Education and hold Bachelor's and/or Master's degrees. All classrooms use The Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards. Our preschool classrooms consist of children ages 3 to 5 with a wide range of abilities. Related Service Providers, including Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, and Physical Therapists provide specialized services within the preschool classroom to children with identified needs.
